“Indeed, those who have divided their religion and become sects – you, are not [associated] with them in anything.

Division into political parties is the most dangerous division

It is more lethal than sectarian division

….As we browse daily through pages of social media (twitter and facebook) and the electronic and print media, we see a nation divided..

A Nation Divided

People seem to be waste and energy their time in trying to prove that their party is better than the other parties

They are all the same; what they are only trying to conclude, at the most, is the lesser evil.

It is the same all around the world

Arabs hating non-arabs and vice versa.

We have to put our differences aside and be united!

There is basically no use now arguing over which party is better or which is worse.

This is the biggest lesson we should have learned over the decades.

I believe we should now get above this political divide. It’s even worse than sectarian divide.

The corporate elite capitalists from ALL parties are united and we commoners are uselessly fighting over them. Its just WWF noora kushti going on, nothing else.

Only THEY seem to be getting richer and richer while the poor get poorer than ever. What good have they given you or me? Nothing.

For us the state ریاست is much more important than the government; for governments come and go but the state should remain. We have to fight and remain united for the state.

Public has to unite. The politicians are trying to divide us so that we don’t rise up against them. Many wise intelligent people realise this by now.

I hope we ALL will very soon. In sha Allah.

10. Those who know the truth but just because of ego آنا and arrogance, they refuse to back down

And we have become divided. Friends, relatives and even brothers and sons and parents have cut off relations due to disagreement over political parties.

Hatred, enmity and abuse of one another brews in the society

Politics is the Great Divide; it is worse than sectarian division.

I keep on saying this.

These are the type of posts being shared on social media against one another in which political opponents are hurling severe obscenities and abuse (cannot even share the screenshots)

Instead of sharing Islamic values, Islamic political ideals, Islamic political thought, Islamic morals and the like

Personalities are being discussed

Some are being raised to level of heros

While others are…

And then we get the kind of twitter trends that we saw the other day

Its getting to the point where the common public is getting fed up of politics

And hardly anyone cares or comments anymore. Its become so dirty.

May Allah Almighty forgive us all.

What We Must Do

Become United

Hold on to the rope of Allah, and be not divided:

Hold Fast to the Rope of Allah

Three main causes of division in a society :

Sectarian division

Racial Division

Political Division

Free Thinkers (Politically)

Do not become bound by supporting parties hook, line and sinker.

Become an independent free – thinker (but NOT in the liberal secular sense)

Don’t be a slave and controlled by political parties

Don’t believe blindly in authority

Even if one is still compelled to support a party, then one has to keep following points in mind.

Question Everything

Fully investigate the truth

Fully investigate the truth as much possible without prejudice, with heart

Start to Admit that you may be wrong

Speak the Truth

Be sincere to Islam and then your country

Stop Arguing with People

Arguing over political parties is as similar to arguing over sects

Explain with Wisdom and Good Words

“Call them to the path of your Lord with wisdom and words of good advice; and reason with them in the best way possible. Your Lord surely knows who strays from His path, and He knows those who are guided the right way.”

(Holy Quran 16 : 124)

So which party is the correct party?

It is just like asking which sect of the ’73 sects’ is the correct one?

With reference to the blog on holding together to the rope of Allah, It is very probable that there may be individual members from every party that are strictly following the teachings of the Holy Quran and the Sunnah.

On the day of judgment, one may not be asked about ones’ sect or ones’ party; he or she will be judged according to the individual actions

One learned scholar, Islamic preacher once told us there are different categories of parties and individuals

1. Party Successful and Individuals Successful

Prophet Muhammad PBUH and the supporters (his companions RA) also successful

In this life and the hereafter

2. Party and followers both unsuccessful in this life and the hereafter

Pharoah and his supporters

In this life and the hereafter

3. Party and Individuals unsuccessful in this life but successful in the Hereafter

Hazrat Isa AS and his disciples

4. Party unsuccessful but some individuals successful

Example: Wife of Pharoah

5. Party successful but some individuals unsuccessful

Hypocrites like Abdullah bin Ubai unsuccessful in the this life and the Hereafter

So similarly all such possibilities are there

We will all be dealt individually

We may or may not be judged whether we supported this party or that party,

But we will surely be judged for our intentions and deeds for His cause

Thus the collection of all pious good people from every party, collection of such people is the best party!

And each of their efforts is diverse. And many efforts of the forces of good are sincere with good intention

Whether as a party, tableeghi jamaat, JI, TI, and any other party or as individuals as bloggers, YouTubers or even spreading Deen on social media.

We should support the forces of good.

There is no doubt that we are very sincere, patriotic and passionate for Pakistan and for Islam. We have to rise above party differences and think independently and accept the wrongs of party members /leaders
