Of Liberals and Bhensas

“Indeed, the penalty for those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger and strive upon earth [to cause] corruption is none but that they be killed or crucified or that their hands and feet be cut off from opposite sides or that they be exiled from the land. That is for them a disgrace in this world; and for them in the Hereafter is a great punishment”

(Holy Quran 5: 33)

Introduction

There is a lot of hue and cry over some missing ‘activists’ (a word that may need redefining in this country). A look in to the story led to finding out that some of our most notorious liberal scums have been captured!

Reading the numerous comments for and against these activists compelled me to write this blog about a class of our society which belongs to the extreme left of the political left-right spectrum.

Definition of  a Liberal

Many definitions of a ‘liberal’ have been given in literature, over the net etc, for example:

‘A person of liberal principles or views, especially in politics or religion’

Strictly speaking from political Islam point of view, a liberal (Azad-Khayal in Urdu) is defined as:

‘A person who feels extremely free in thought and actions to say and to do whatever one likes and does not feel bound to any restrictions whatsoever, especially concerning matters relating to the Deen’

This definition in a nutshell explains all their beliefs and actions.

Liberals and Nafs-e-Ammara

Nafs-e-Ammara

“Indeed the nafs (soul) that overwhelmingly commands a person to do sin”

(Holy Quran 12: 53)

This refers to that nafs (soul) that is ruling over the self. This means that the nafs tells & commands what to do. So when the nafs has any desire, any wish, any appetite, it simply commands us, it dominates us. It is that nafs which is sovereign over a human being.

It means we are subjugated by it, we are sub-ordinate to it, we listen and follow all of its dictates and commands. A person that has this type of nafs is one who sins willingly, blatantly, without any regret or remorse, in any way that they ever want.

This concept is actually glorified by liberals because they say ”one should do whatever makes one happy, do whatever pleases you, do whatever your heart desires”. They may glamorize that by saying that it’s the heart but actually there are many people, whether in east or west, even Muslims now, that are doing what our passion desires. So that means that they have a nafs-ul-ammarah.

Nafs-e-Lawwama

This is a remorseful, reproaching soul

“And I swear by the reproaching soul” (Holy Quran 75: 2)

Lawwam here means to self incriminate, to self reproach, to blame, to do mulamat of oneself. So, this is that nafs that does sometimes bring a person to do sin, but then that nafs self incriminates itself, it reproaches itself, it feels bad, it feels guilty.

The Soul reaches a point that it commits a sin, its conscience wakes up and criticizes the sinner. This is the first indication that a person’s soul is wakening up.

And then this guilt is supposed to increase so much so then the person leaves those sins because they feel so guilty about them. So, the sign of this is precisely  that the person has such a nafs that when they commit a sin they feel remorse, regret, they feel guilt, they feel shame, they feel embarrassment, they wish they could take it back, they wish they never did it, they may even intend at that moment never to do that again. So, they are fighting a battle with their nafs. Sometimes they make sin and sometimes they are able to stay away from sin.

Nafs-Mutmainnah

The last type of soul: the contented, satisfied, the soul of peace & tranquility; this should be the ultimate goal of every Muslim.

Differences Between a Liberal and a Remorseful Sinner

Character Liberals Repenting Remorseful Sinners
Type of Soul Nafs-e-Ammara (described above) Nafs-e-Lawwama
Belief of Sin Do not believe a sin is a sin  (especially as is mentioned in the Holy Quran and Ahadith) Do believe that a sin is a sin; often feel remorse after committing it
Concept of wrong and right Don’t believe that they are doing any wrong Believe they are doing wrong but don’t have the will or resolve for the moment to change
Search for Truth Never truly try to find out the truth Often try to find out the truth by referring to Holy Quran and Sayings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) or Religious Scholars
Intention to Change Have no intention whatsoever to change, repent or mend their ways Often hope and pray to repent and mend their ways
Practice of Islam Rare, extremely rare or not at all Much more practicing Muslims
Taqwa/ fear of God None Do have fear of Allah to some extent or more
Interpretation of Holy Quran Make their own concocted interpretations of the Holy Quran which suits their aims & desires No
Mock Religion Yes, they often do No
How they see religious people Look down upon them, ridicule them Respect them, sometimes wish and pray to be like them
Extremists Are liberals belong to far left and are extremists No
Hypocrisy More close to hypocrisy described in Holy Quran No

Assess yourselves. Which one of the above categories do you belong to? Which of the above categories do your friends or your political leaders belong to? Time to reflect!

Difference Between a Liberal & a Secular

A secular is a person who keeps or wants to keep state separate from religion. So in this sense, we can easily conclude that all liberals are secularists, but all secularists are NOT liberal.

A detailed blog on secularism is given here:

Difference Between Religion & Deen & the Fault with Secularism

Liberals & Freedom of Expression

This is one of the major slogans of liberals: the right to freedom of expression. They feel that it is a basic human right that has no limitations; that one can say whatever one wishes to say without being accountable for it; even if what one says harms the sentiments of other human beings; one is just giving ones’ opinion.

Major differing points here with references:

Point 1

Some limits have been set by Allah. Some red lines have been drawn. They are not to be crossed.

‘Hadd’: It means the limits set by God and which the believers are warned not to overstep. Plural of Hadd is ‘Hudood’. Do not confuse with Hudood Laws!

The various laws in 4:12 are immediately followed by the words these are God’s ‘hudood’ (limits).

“These are God’s ‘hudood’ (limits). He who obeys God and His messenger, He will admit him into gardens with rivers flowing beneath, wherein they forever remain; this is the greatest triumph (Holy Quran 4: 13)

“And he who disobeys God and His messenger, and oversteps His ‘hudood’ (limits), He will admit him into the fire, wherein he forever remains; and for him is a humiliating punishment.” (Holy Quran 4: 14)

“These are God’s ‘hudood’ (limits). Anyone who oversteps God’s ‘hudood’ (limits) has wronged himself. You never know; perhaps God will cause something to happen following this.”

(Holy Quran 65: 1)

All confirm the same truth that the word ‘hudood’ means the limits set by God and which must not be overstepped.

Just like we lay down red lines for our children for their safety & best psychological upbringing, Allah Almighty in his Great Wisdom has laid down certain limitations in our actions and speech for our benefit (albeit we may not understand the wisdom).

Point 2

Hate speech: People spreading hate speech, obnoxious words or blasphemous cartoons etc especially against religious thought and/or against the teachings of Islam, or worse against the person of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) of Islam, that hurt the sentiments of Muslims, should be prosecuted and tried because it may lead to mischief, chaos in the land:

“Indeed, the penalty for those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger and strive upon earth [to cause] corruption is none but that they be killed or crucified or that their hands and feet be cut off from opposite sides or that they be exiled from the land. That is for them a disgrace in this world; and for them in the Hereafter is a great punishment”

(Holy Quran 5: 33)

The most extreme form of hate speech is blasphemy.

Point 3

This life is an examination hall in which we are being tested to see who is doing better and who is not.

“It is he who created death and life to test which of you are best in deed, for he is the Almighty, the Forgiving.”

(Holy Quran: 67:2)

So, in a sense, we are not free to do whatever we want. We will be accountable for our actions.

Point 4

Freedom of thought and free speech leads to more evil. There are no limits. No red lines. In Islamic jurisprudence there is a term called ‘Sadd Dharai’.

Sadd dharai’ meaning blocking of the means; it means blocking the means to evil. Sadd al Dharai is often used when a lawful means is expected to produce an unlawful result. In this case unlimited use of freedom of expression often leading to evil is an example.

The concept of Sadd al-Dharai is founded on the idea of prevention of evil before it materializes. There are examples of Sadd al-Dharai in the Holy Quran (for instance, 6:108; 2:104).

We know absolute freedom of expression, thoughts, believes have lead to evils like:

Homosexuality, Feminism, Blasphemy, Free intermingling of sexes, free love etc with all their associated evils.

Evil breeds bayghairti just like terrorists breed terrorism. This is often by the slow brain-washing by their speeches and blogs on electronic and print media & on social media etc.

Point 5

“The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said: ‘Among the early prophetic teachings that have reached people is this: if you do not feel shame, do what you wish.’ ”

(Related by Bukhari)

Allah created human beings with fitrah, natural inclinations. Our inborn fitrah can direct us towards haya’ (modesty) and good morals. Our fitrah is programmed to feel an uneasiness when codes of morality are violated.

Society may try to promote something as acceptable or not, but our core values are shaped by the word of Allah and the example of His Prophet. The interpretations and standards of morality may differ based on the environment, but the underlying principles never change.

Allah says in the Quran, “Do whatever you will. Indeed, He sees all that you do.”

(Holy Quran 41: 40)

Point 6

Taqwa: Fear of God

Taqwa has been mentioned so many times in the Holy Quran and Sayings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

The whole month of fasting is observed so that a person acquires Taqwa (piety and fear of God).

Hadrat Umar ibn Khattab (R.A) once asked Hadrat Ibn Ka’ab (R.A) the definition of taqwa. In reply Hadrat Ibn Ka’ab asked, “Have you ever had to traverse a thorny path?” Hadrat Umar replied in the affirmative and Hadrat Ka’ab continued, “How do you do so?”

Hadrat Umar said that he would carefully walk through after first having collected all loose and flowing clothing in his hands so nothing gets caught in the thorns hence injuring him. Hadrat Ka’ab said, “This is the definition of taqwa, to protect oneself from sin through life’s dangerous journey so that one can successfully complete the journey unscathed by sin.”

This again proves that one cannot simply walk freely in life; one has to tread carefully with the fear of God in ones heart and mind at all times.

Liberals and Blasphemy

Recently many liberals have gone to that extreme where even most Non-Muslims have never gone. They have been seen making blasphemous remarks, cartoons etc on social media including on pages of social media, thus spreading this extreme form of hate speech.

A detailed blog on blasphemy and blasphemy is given here:

Blasphemy Laws

Mention of Liberals/liberal thought in the Holy Quran

Liberal thought and/or characteristics of liberals are very close to many of the characteristics described for hypocrites described in the Holy Quran in various places.

Major chapters include Surah Baqarah, Surah Al-Anaam and Surah Munafiqoon. Almost all of Surah Al-Anaam speaks about liberals & their thoughts.

Surah Al-Anaam (Holy Quran: Chapter 6):

“And no sign comes to them from the signs of their Lord except that they turn away therefrom.” (6:4)

“For they had denied the truth when it came to them, but there is going to reach them the news of what they used to ridicule.” (6:5)

“And already were messengers ridiculed before you, but those who mocked them were enveloped by that which they used to ridicule.” (6:10)

“And who is more unjust than one who invents about Allah a lie or denies His verses? Indeed, the wrongdoers will not succeed.” (6:21)

“And among them are those who listen to you, but We have placed over their hearts coverings, lest they understand it, and in their ears deafness. And if they should see every sign, they will not believe in it. Even when they come to you arguing with you, those who disbelieve say, “This is not but legends of the former peoples.” (6: 25)

“In their hearts is disease, so Allah has increased their disease; and for them is a painful punishment because they [habitually] used to lie.”

(Holy Quran 2: 10)

The list goes on and on.

A true Muslim is always fearful about having become a hypocrite as illustrated in a Hadith (Story of Hazrat Hanzala).

“And leave what is apparent of sin and what is concealed thereof. Indeed, those who earn [blame for] sin will be recompensed for that which they used to commit.”

Holy Quran 6: 120)

Liberals are Worse than Cattle (Bhensas)

“And We have certainly created for Hell many of the jinn and mankind. They have hearts with which they do not understand, they have eyes with which they do not see, and they have ears with which they do not hear. They are like livestock; rather, they are more astray. It is they who are the heedless.”

(Holy Quran: 7: 179)

A most accurate description of liberals and a correct name they have given to their social media page ‘Bhensa’ (cattle), for in reality, as described in the Holy Quran, they are cattle or even worse, for these libtards have been given a human brain. They have hearts with which they do not understand, they have eyes with which they do not see, and they have ears with which they do not hear.

Similar many other verses:

“(They are) deaf, dumb and blind. So they do not understand.”

(Holy Quran: 2:171)

No wonder they will be in the bottom depths of Hell-fire:

Liberals Satisfied With Themselves

“And thus We have made for every prophet an enemy – devils from mankind and jinn, inspiring to one another decorative speech in delusion. But if your Lord had willed, they would not have done it, so leave them and that which they invent.”

(Holy Quran 6: 112)

And [it is] so the hearts of those who disbelieve in the Hereafter will incline toward it and that they will be satisfied with it and that they will commit that which they are committing.”

(Holy Quran 6: 113)

“And is one who was dead and We gave him life and made for him light by which to walk among the people like one who is in darkness, never to emerge therefrom? Thus it has been made pleasing to the disbelievers that which they were doing.”

(Holy Quran 6: 122)

But Allah knows who is on the right and who is in the wrong. No matter how clever they are, they may outwit you, outsmart you in debate, but do not be depressed for they will be utmost losers.

“Indeed, your Lord is most knowing of who strays from His way, and He is most knowing of the [rightly] guided.”

(Holy Quran 6: 117)

They will never be guided:

“So whoever Allah wants to guide – He expands his breast to [contain] Islam; and whoever He wants to misguide – He makes his breast tight and constricted as though he were climbing into the sky. Thus does Allah place defilement upon those who do not believe.”

(Holy Quran 6: 125)

Liberals Mocking Deen-e-Islam

Instead of rational discussion, often the most extreme of these extremists resort to mocking Islam and its teachings.

“And when you see those who engage in [offensive] discourse concerning Our verses, then turn away from them until they enter into another conversion. And if Satan should cause you to forget, then do not remain after the reminder with the wrongdoing people.”

(Holy Quran 6: 68)

Don’t Take Liberals as Friends

One should stay away from these liberal extremists just like one should stay away from Islamic extremists.

One may regret taking such people as friends on the day of judgment:

“Oh, woe to me! I wish I had not taken that one as a friend.”

(Holy Quran 25: 28)

“And leave those who take their religion as amusement and diversion and whom the worldly life has deluded. But remind with the Qur’an, lest a soul be given up to destruction for what it earned; it will have other than Allah no protector and no intercessor. And if it should offer every compensation, it would not be taken from it. Those are the ones who are given to destruction for what they have earned. For them will be a drink of scalding water and a painful punishment because they used to disbelieve.”

(Holy Quran 6:70)

Do not follow them even if they are in the majority:

“And if you obey most of those upon the earth, they will mislead you from the way of Allah . They follow not except assumption, and they are not but falsifying.”

(Holy Quran 6: 116)

Then who are defending these libtards?

Aims of the Liberal Movement

“And thus We have placed within every city the greatest of its criminals to conspire therein. But they conspire not except against themselves, and they perceive [it] not.”

(Holy Quran 6: 23)

They want to slowly brainwash the public by their evil ideas, bring in vulgarity etc, mock Islam & its teachings by showing that they are the most open-minded harmless creatures ever created.

There is no doubt that the leaders of these extremist liberals are working on a certain agenda of the Dajjalian Zionists. They are conspiring against Islam and Muslims, ridiculing the Holy Prophet (PBUH), Islam and its teachings.

Many of them operate from Non-Muslim countries in collaboration with their Zionist friends, spreading hate and evil on social media! Some of them have inherited their habits and culture and have become like them.

Liberals in Pakistan March 2019 :

Some of them seem to be their paid agents but what a miserable price they have sold themselves!

“How wretched is that for which they sold themselves – that they would disbelieve in what Allah has revealed through [their] outrage that Allah would send down His favor upon whom He wills from among His servants. So they returned having [earned] wrath upon wrath. And for the disbelievers is a humiliating punishment.”

(Holy Quran 2: 90)

Conclusion

All this noise just seems like thieves themselves making noise about a theft they committed. They should be released and put on trial for blasphemy and treason and if found guilty should be publicly hanged.

A professor of Pharmacology is missing for over a year now for the slightest of Islamic extremist approaches and there is no noise. Why only so much outcry by ‘liberal activists’, only over Non-Muslims, minorities or when their own get caught?

Yes, justice must be done and done quickly and publicly, so that these liberal scums become a lesson for all.
